Discipleship through Egypt, Desert, and Promised Land
Near 70 young people packed into EHOP to worship, fellowship, and to hear a word that was on Jonathan’s heart. The word was a strong call to discipleship that involved his own personal journey. He read extensively from his personal journals. Entries from 6 years ago to date showed his own grappling with the call to be a disciple and a fruit bearing brother that glorifies the Lord and impacts others lives. Youth that did not make it and older folks will enjoy this personal story and call to wholehearted commitment to Jesus. The audio ends with some great encouragement from Spencer.
Be blessed,
Sam
Discipleship through Egypt, Desert, and Promised Land
07.28.10
Jonathan Brickley shared his living epistle with the younger generation – a journey from selfish worldliness to cross-bearing, fruit-bearing discipleship. Everyone was exhorted to find a spiritual father/mother to help them be a disciple and make disciples.
The Lordship of the Holy Spirit
We need revelation of the Spirit’s authority and submission to His Lordship. Many believers do not need more counseling; they need to simply obey what the Spirit has already said. True freedom and transformation are guaranteed only in the atmosphere of obedience to the Lordship of the Holy Spirit (2 Cor. 3:7-18).
